Hunter Hansen – The Life Autistic
Since I traveled just recently, here’s a few how-to tips and helps on managing this with autism. It’s more than just addressing the basic sensory issues, so I take it a step further to discuss “portable routines,” backup parachutes, a “sensory inventory,” managing emotional pressure, and more. Think of it as less about how to manage autism and travel as getting from point A to point B and more about how to holistically work with your autism beyond just the travel event and into “vacation” and time away. Vacations and travel are hard enough; with autism, they’re a lot harder — but it is indeed doable! Welcome to The Life Autistic – an #ActuallyAutistic personal narrative sharing topics, talks, rants, and insights about autism from an autistic perspective.
