For visitors of all ages, Montana State University’s Museum of the Rockies traces the area’s history and the Siebel Dinosaur Complex, with a notable collection of T. rex specimens, plus a planetarium and other great museums like the American Computer & Robotics Museum. It also has its own symphony orchestra, theatre, opera and ballet.

Prefer the outdoors? Check out Yellowstone Park with miles of hiking and biking trails through Gallatin National Forest with myriad rivers full of fish. The nearby Bridger Range and the Spanish Peaks also have trails for skiing, biking and hiking.

Review by Special Globe: This is our absolute go to place every summer that we visit Bozeman. We reserve the same room, one of their long term apartments which has a separate bedroom, full kitchen and indoor enclosed balcony. This room has tons of space. My kids love this place! The decor feels very local and homey. They have 8 hot tubs, a big pool and complimentary breakfast. The other thing that my kids love is the Koi Pond where they are able to get food at the front desk to feed them, a highlight for them. Our family loves the C’Mon Inn! Full review
