Ideal for lovers of hiking, fishing, swimming… this site on the edge of a pond has 83 spacious and shaded pitches, in the heart of a wooded environment of 3 ha. It also offers chalets with toilet facilities or onsite luxury tents (with nearby toilet facilities). The site is only a few minutes walk/cycle to the village of Matour which has a boulangerie and a small supermarket.⁣

There is a fishing lake with picnic areas and a playground on-site. You also have free access to the Paluet leisure centre which offers a range of family and outdoor activities plus a heated aquatic area with slide, a hot tub and snack bar where you can book your breakfast all season long!

Explore the area on foot or bike, visit some of the impressive chateaus, churches and abbeys or check out the local summer festivals and markets in Mantour.

Review by Lizzie, in her blog A Curious Journey. … we hadn’t booked a campsite for that night so I started googling and found Camping de Matour, which turned out to be a little gem. A relaxing campsite in a woodland setting, we liked it so much we stayed for 3 nights. ⁣

All our campsites are able to welcome people with reduced mobility in the camping pitches and common areas.
