We started Autism Friendly Caravans 7 years because we have a son Lucas who is autistic and it was impossible to find holidays suitable for families who are autistic so we decided to set up 1 caravan to help other families and then found the amount of families that wanted to come on holiday was huge so we expanded the business to what they are today.

As parents we know how hard it is to find somewhere suitable, so we have tried to set each caravan different to suit each family. We have tried to think off everything to make going on holiday less stressful and relaxing. We now have 6 themed caravans  at Haven Cala Gran in Fleetwood, just outside Blackpool.  They are all Family/Autism Friendly, ranging from 8 berth to 10 berth, some with outside secure decking. They include the Disney Themed Caravan, Dr Seuss/Gaming Themed Caravan, Mario/Gaming Caravan, Cherry Choice Caravan,  Spongebob/Disney and the Rainbow Caravan. Each has a very individual character but they all offer a delightful holiday with plenty of  sensory stimulation like a Bubble Table, Bubble Wall, Sensory Den & sensory toys.
