Run by Carl, Carolyn & Tamzin, Birchill Farm & Cottages sits amongst 8 acres of green pasture and ancient oak woodlands. The grounds also feature a wildlife pond and an open meadow leading to the stream. With a network of paths meandering across our land, we hope that our visitors too, will be able to spot the vast array of wildlife that also call our unspoilt haven their home. Beyond our farm are neighbouring farms where cows and sheep graze on a patchwork of lush Devon pasture, laced by diverse and bountiful hedgerows.

All our cottages have been designed to cater for the needs of babies, toddlers and children. There is plenty for your children to do; with animal feeds in the mornings, many outdoor and indoor play areas and play equipment. On rainy days, our indoor play barn is a perfect distraction from the gloom outside, with a soft play area, ride-on toys available, a games room, play cafe and lots more games and activities to take part in.   Slightly older children may enjoy the play den, with table football, a pool table and boxes filled with toys for 5 to 8 year olds.
