Each of the lodges and the Paxton Centre have been purpose built to ensure people affected by disability can make full use of all the facilities at Homelands. Within both the Paxton Centre and the lodges there is level access and widened door frames. 

All lodges have Guldmann H-frame ceiling tracking hoists in each of the ground floor bedrooms and in the wet room. Furthermore each lodge has one electric profiling bed with an Invacare Softform Premier Active 2 airflow mattress in the each ground floor bedroom.  They also feature a full wet room on the ground floor with a pull down seat in the shower area, (various shower chairs and shower trollies are also available, free of charge, on request.
