Waterside house Campsite, Ullswater, Lake District

Waterside House is a beautifully situated family run Lake District campsite situated on the northern shores of Ullswater in the Lake District.  A tranquil site where you can camp, stay in a Tipi or Pod or simply bring your own campervan. The site also has a childrens playground and offers a hire facility for rowing boats, canoes kayaks and mountain bikes.

Waterside House farm is part of a working farm that is home to a flock of Swaledale Ewes, who spend most of their time on the nearby Barton Fell. At certain times of the year you may see the sheep being dipped, sheared or even the birth of a lamb. You will certainly see sheepdogs at work. Cattle and calves are reared and can be seen in the fields around the campsite during the summer months.
