Manchester Airport, Ringway, Manchester

Manchester is a 3 terminal airport offering flights to Europe and around the world with national rail connections.  It has worked in collaboration with AccessAble to create a detailed guide to assist you in getting around the airport.  Click here for more details.

Changing Places toilets are available in the arrivals halls/departure before security of Terminals 1, 2, and 3. These provide greater facilities for passengers and their carers who require them and include a hoist, adjustable changing table and sink, and more. Please note that these are not staffed.

For peace of mind, we advise you to plan your travel carefully.  Prepare for your airport journey in advance. This includes allowing enough time and preparing your hand luggage for security screening – and do contact the airport a few days early if you need to book special assistance.

Free sunflower lanyards available on request. Our staff have been specially trained to help those with the lanyards. Note: this gives you access to our family and priority lanes at security plus the use of special assistance lanes at the UK Border on arrival into the airport.

The Sunflower Room in Terminal 1 is for guests who need a break from the noise, bright lights and crowds to help them relax in a quieter environment.  Guests who require use of the room will be guided here as part of the Special Assistance Service. Read more here.
